STAY HEALTHY!

Yikes! We've had many students absent this week for one reason or another - many out with colds and flu. Remeber to cover your mouth with your elbow, wash your hands frequently, and stay home until your fever has been gone for more than 24 hours.

We're wrapping our Northeast Region unit this week. Thursday we look forward to sampling some northeast foods and taking a look at major landforms of the northeast using GoogleEarth. Friday we have a test. Study guides have been provided and students were allowed a sneak peek of the test. They could not be more prepared!

I look forward to visiting with parents at conferences this week and next. While the MEAP test upset our routine for much of October, I still have plenty of things to share. See you soon!

MEAP WEEK!

This week all 4th graders are taking the MEAP test. We will be testing Tuesday and Thursday morning. Please remember to get a good nights sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and bring a nutritious snack. As a reward for such hard work, no homework will be assigned on MEAP days. Enjoy the "brain break" 4th graders!
